An editorial reading of a defining moment in the work, presented within the Camille Tanoh archive.

This is about more than tailoring. It’s about identity, presence and the legacy of champions.

Tailored for Champions brought the ceremonial intelligence of tailoring into Major League Soccer. Camille Tanoh designed a new visual language for D.C. United’s pre-match arrival, treating the tunnel as a threshold between private preparation and public performance.

The collaboration connects sport, luxury, leadership, and responsible production. Hand-sewn in Portugal and developed with performance-minded fabrics, the tailoring gives players a shared presence without erasing individuality — a model for how a club can express culture beyond the field.
